Ginger "Snap" Graham (Gussy) -  Ginger is the mistress to the Mayor of New York, Walter R. Wingate. They started this long steamy affair back when he was a crooked lawyer on Capital Hill. Rumor has it that she started out as his secretary but that only lasted a month when he found out that her talents had nothing to do with filing. Ginger Snap, a nickname given to her by the mayor, is still waiting for Walter to make an honest women out of her but, the diamonds get bigger and the promises get smaller.

Picture
Mayor Walter R. Wingate (Gene) - "Win with Wingate" was his election slogan and win he did, but not because of his politics. It was the deep pockets of the Vanderbilt's, his wife's family, that kept him afloat. Buying his way to the top also brought him to the top of the mobs' hit list. Wingate has made many enemies through the years. Even though his love for Ginger is true, his love for the Vanderbilt fortune is just as strong.

Picture
Gina "Gigi" Gambino (Jean) - Wife to mobster "Sammy The Bull"  Sammy is in the big house for knocking off half of Wingates political opponents. Gigi blames the Mayor for her Sammy's incarceration, but she has found consolation in the steely arms of Sammy's younger brother,  Joey. Be careful of what lies behind those hypnotic eyes.

Picture
Joey "The Iceman" Gambino (Ben) - Notorious mobster and younger Brother to  "Sammy the Bull". Joey promised his brother Sammy, through his lengthy stay in the Pen, that he would look after Gigi. Joey seems to be taking his job rather seriously since he wont let Gigi out of his sight... or his bed.

Picture
Madame Opal Gray "Madame 'O" (Trudy) - Has been running the Mayflower Club, the finest establishment in Washington, D.C., for many years. There's nothing she hasn't done or seen that could make this "tough braud" blush. Madame 'O' often brags about the romantic times with Al Capone and claims that, "Bonnie and Clyde were a young couple in love that were just misunderstood".

Picture
Pearl Gray (Darlene) - Madame "O's" daughter, Pearl, works at the Mayflower as dancer, dealer, bartender; or anything Opal needs her to be. Mother and daughter tag team some of the more wealthy patrons. Pearl pours a spiked drink, and Mom steps in to help the wobbly customers. Wallets, watches, and cash seem to miraculously disappear.
Pearl dreams of someday seeing her name in Broadway lights, but until Opal loosens her grip this joint is the end of the road.

Picture
"Trixie"  Couture (Diane) -  Mayflower Flapper.  A local show girl working her way  thru  many men hoping to catch the eye of the notorious  mobster, "Nick  The Fish"; known for his freaquent trips to the Pier... you cross Nick and you swim with fishes. Trixie finds this bad boy sexy and hopes to one day become his mob wife.

Picture
"Nick the Fish" (Vernon) -  The Mobster everyone loves because you're too scared to hate.Growing up with a Deacon as a father was hard on Nick. Never being good enough for his old man, Nick was an easy recruit for the Santoro family. Rumor has it that Nick killed his own father for threatening to turn him in for his evil ways. Nick's mom still thinks that her husband died on a family fishing trip with little Nick.

Picture
Judge Clive Hatchet (Bob) -  Its "Hatchet Law" when this hard-nosed jurist presides. No bribe is too small to sway his judgement. A long time friend of Madame 'O', there has never been a charge on her that would stick, thanks to the Hatchet Law. Judge Hatchet is a VIP at the Mayflower anything he wants or needs he gets. He dreams of the day that she will no longer have a deep dark secret over him, something she "politely" reminds him of every time she needs the Hatchet gavel to swing her way.

Picture
Calvin "Cal" Hatchet (Michael) -   Younger brother to the Judge. Keeping his sleazy brother out of trouble is the reason the Judge turned to the dark side of the Law. Keeping Cal out of jail has become a full time job. Cal has been courted by the Santoro family since he was thirteen. He wants to be made so bad he's entertaining the idea of whacking Johnny Pimlico just to keep the money flowing for Santoro family.

Picture
Maria Pimlico (Sue) -  Maria's been running hooch for the Mayflower for years. She comes from a long line of bootleggers. Gin is in her blood . Maria and Johnny are made for each other with no concern for any law. A bootlegger and the bookie seem to be a match made in heaven. Running the hooch and the numbers is all the life they know.

Picture
Johnny "Numbers" Pimlico (Keith) -  Bookie and "want to be track owner". There's nothing he wouldn't do for his lovely  Maria. He keeps her draped in diamonds and furs, living the high life. Running numbers has been the Pimlico family business for generations, but  Johnny's propensity to "fix" any race he can has left him a marked man.

Picture
Mama Lucia (Andrea)- After her husband ran off with another village girl she was left alone to fend not only for herself but her son as well. Always conservative and very religious, what no one knows is that she prostituted her body to be able to buy the passages to America for her son and herself. They made their way to America just in time as the village began to take note of her dealings in the night…especially when the local women found out that their husbands were “frequent guests” of hers. Her son always knew and that’s the underlying reason for his hate of his mother; they are always bickering back and forth.

Picture
Luca DiLuca (Salvatore)- He’s gorgeous…and he knows it. He’s always quick to use his good looks and gift of gab to obtain what he wants no matter who gets in the way. He’s very flirtatious, especially with older rich women; he’s hoping to be the pampered apple of a lonely (or married) woman’s eye. The truth is as much as he uses and abuses women and himself, there’s one love he longs for… the love he once had as a very young man…but he didn’t take care of that love and lost her to his desire/quest for material fortune.  He blames his mother since she’s the one who told the young girl of her sons wishes to leave for America in search of riches. The venom that courses between his mother and himself becomes more and more potent as time passes.

Picture
Ching Chang Fa (Darlene)- Madame Opal’s first husband had won her in a poker game in the Orient many years ago. The husband has been long gone but she’s still the property of Madame Opal. Many times she’s thought about running away but Madame Opal’s affiliation with everyone in town has completely restricted her from being able to get very far. Her hate for madam Opal runs very deep she constantly pretends to not understand English (although she does) or Madam Opal’s commands, just to spite her.
